Eden Hazard has already teased Chelsea transfer as angry Real Madrid fans demand sale

Real Madrid supporters appear to have turned on former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Belgian winger completed an £83.53m move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2019 after enjoying a hugely successful seven-year spell at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard won two Premier League titles, two Europa League titles, one FA Cup and a League Cup in his seven years at Chelsea and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the club’s history.

However, despite winning the La Liga title in his first season with Los Blancos, things have not gone smoothly for the 30-year-old.

Injuries have stopped Hazard from performing at his best on a consistent basis and this season he's made just 10 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals in the process.

His most recent outing was in Real Madrid's Spanish Super Copa defeat against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday night where he lasted 67 minutes before being substituted.

And it would appear that was the final straw for some of the club's supporters.

As reported by Football Espana, a poll taken by Marca shows that a large section of Real Madrid fans believe Hazard should be dropped from the starting XI or sold.

The report states that 44 percent of fans believe the best scenario is for Hazard and Los Blancos to part ways at the earliest convenience after anger at his performances.

Luckily for Hazard he could always return to Chelsea if Real Madrid fans get their way.

And the Belgian international has already teased a return to Stamford Bridge once he's finished up in the Spanish capital.

Back in December 2019, Blues supporter Frank Khalid caught up with Hazard whilst the winger was recovering from injury and the latter did not hide his desire to play for Chelsea again.

"When I finish here I’ll come back," Hazard said. Asked whether he has watched his old side on television Hazard replied: "Yeah, when I can I watch. Not all the time.

"They are doing well, they’re young. Now they can pay for players, they can buy players now.

"I do my job here and then I come back."
