Eden Hazard backs Frank Lampard to become 'one of the best managers in the world' at Chelsea

Frank Lampard can become one of the best managers in the world at Chelsea, according to Eden Hazard.

Lampard is in just his second year as a manager, making his debut in the dugout with Derby at the beginning of last season, but is impressing many at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea currently lie third in the Premier League off the back of a six-game winning run and, for Hazard, it is "not at all" surprising.

"I know Frank as a player, not as a manger, but he’s a great guy," he told reporters.

"He's showed already after four months that he can be one of the best managers in the world.

"The good thing is that they are playing with young players, young English players. For England it’s good, for Chelsea’s it’s good.

"They are lucky to have young players with quality."

Asked if Chelsea's transfer ban has helped the club, Hazard replied: "I don’t know. Maybe with two or three more players they would be first!

"When I saw them play it's nice. I still have good friends there so I follow them all the time. They are winning at the moment so I'm happy for them."
