Arsenal starlet Eddie Nketiah has opened up on his time at Leeds United and discussed his new chance with the Gunners.
The 20-year-old striker started and scored his side's second goal in the FA Cup fourth round win at Bournemouth on Monday evening.
Post-match he was speaking to BT Sport when he lifted the lid on his exit from Leeds this month.
The forward was expected initially to see out his season-long loan at Elland Road before talk of a recall came about.
Then it was anticipated that he would go back out on loan after not starting as many games as the Gunners would have liked at Leeds.
However, it seems to be all working out for Nketiah, who spoke glowingly of Leeds and the Gunners after the win over Bournemouth.
He told BT Sport: "Yes it's nice to be back. I had a great time at Leeds and I learned a lot. The boss (Mikel Arteta) was really happy with what he saw from me. Obviously you want to play for Arsenal and it's a dream.
"I am grateful for this opportunity and it was nice to get back out there."
On the 2-1 win over Bournemouth, Nketiah added: "We were really sharp and we played some great football. Everyone was really at it. It was a great start and although they came back into the game, we showed resilience towards the end. It's good to get through to the next round."
