Eddie Nketiah reveals how Ian Wright and Arsenal are supporting him during Leeds loan spell

Arsenal loanee  Eddie Nketiah has spoken about how the support he is getting from Gunners legendary forward Ian Wright is 'a dream come true'.

The striker is on a season long loan at Leeds United, he has already scored three goals in four appearances in all competitions for the Whites, his latest coming in the Carabao Cup penalties defeat to Stoke City.

The 20-year-old made an instant impact in his Championship debut last week, scoring the only goal of the game against Brentford, to give his side a 1-0 victory, within minutes of entering the field. On that night, former Arsenal striker Ian Wright was in attendance.

Soon after Nketiah's winning goal against Brentford, Wright took to Twitter to share his delight at the Arsenal youngster finding the net, posting a video of him celebrating the striker's goal.

Nketiah has now spoken about Wright's support, describing him as a 'mentor'.

"Ian is a massive help," the striker has said, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post. "I've got really close with him.

Arsenal have high hopes for Nketiah, the striker played a big part in pre-season for the club, and the player has revealed that the Gunners are keeping in close contact with him during his time in Yorkshire.

"They text me a lot," he added. "They're in touch. I'm here to develop but I'd like to keep improving and they want to help me with that."
