Eddie Nketiah is off the mark for Leeds United in the Championship.
The striker, who is on loan at Elland Road from Arsenal, opened his account for the Whites in their Carabao Cup win over Salford City last week but has had to be patient for a chance in the league.
It finally came last night at home to Brentford and Nketiah seized the moment.
Introduced as a 77th minute substitute, the 20-year-old broke the deadlock four minutes later as he swept home Helder Costa's cross for what was his first ever league goal at senior level.
Furthermore, that strike turned out to be the winner as Leeds remain top of the Championship table after four games played.
Nketiah took to social media after the game and celebrated his impact.
"Anyone call for a goal?," he asked on Twitter.
"Big 3 points at Elland Road tonight.
"Glory be to God."
Also in attendance at Elland Road was none other than Arsenal legend Ian Wright and unsurprisingly he was delighted when the Gunners loanee opened the scoring.
Just after the goal, Wright posted a video on his Twitter profile of him celebrating what turned out to be the winner
The caption along with it reading "Eddie Eddie!!!!!!!!!".
And Nketiah sent a message to Wright following the game.
"Great to see the big man down at the game tonight," he wrote on Instagram. "Too much love for Ian Wright."
