'This will be great' Leeds United fans react to debutants and lack of centre-backs in team to face Stoke

As expected, Marcelo Bielsa has made a host of changes to his Leeds United side for tonight's Carabao Cup second round clash against Stoke City - and fans are looking forward to seeing a side packed with youngsters and lacking recognised centre-backs.

The Potters visit Elland Road just four days after the Whites comprehensively beat them 3-0 at the bet365 Stadium but will tonight face a Leeds side that has made eight changes.

In come summer signings Helder Costa and Eddie Nketiah who make their first Elland Road starts, while Kiko Casilla, Gaetano Berardi and Kalvin Phillips are the three players who keep their places.

Casilla will continue in goal, with a back-four of Barry Douglas, Berardi, Leif Davis and Jamie Shackleton, while Phillips will play in the centre of midfield and be able to drop back into a back three, should Leeds look to move to three at the back and allow Douglas and Shackleton to move further forward.

Young duo Alfie McCalmont and Mateusz Bogusz both make their full debuts in midfield, while Jack Clarke and Costa start out wide with Nketiah leading the line.

Stoke boss Nathan Jones has made nine changes to his side, which includes a recall for England goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The draw for the third round takes place tomorrow night following Everton's trip to Lincoln.

Leeds United: Casilla, Douglas, Berardi, Davis, Shackleton, Phillips, McCalmont, Clarke, Bogusz, Costa, Nketiah

Subs: Miazek, White, Gotts, Forshaw, Alioski, Harrison, Bamford

Here's a look at how the fans have reacted to the line-up on social media...
