Eddie Izzard is playing a short run of gigs at the Bill Murray comedy pub in Islington this month.
Izzard will be doing eight work in progress shows from November 19-22, performing two each night to audiences of fewer than 100. He will also appear at the Top Secret Comedy Club in Drury Lane on November 12 and 13.
The stand-up, actor, writer and political activist has performed shows in French, German, Russian, Spanish and Arabic. Don’t worry if you’re not multi-lingual: This one, trying out new material, will be in English.
Izzard will be touring new show Wunderbar throughout Australia and Europe from February-April next year, and so far there are no other London shows on his listings.
The Bill Murray’s intimate comedy space has played host to the household names and up and coming comedians every day of the week since opening nearly two years ago.
