Eddie Howe 'spotted' as Celtic daft Fratellis frontman claims boss spied house hunting in Glasgow

Eddie Howe is allegedly on the lookout for a new house in Scotland, not far from where Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon have put down roots.

In one of the more bizarre stories you'll read today, that's according to Jon Fratelli...the front-man of Scottish rock band The Fratellis .

The Glasgow indie rockers are known Celtic fans and frontman Jon has been speaking to talkSPORT promoting their new album.

He couldn't resist getting drawn into a conversation about the Hoops and the topic on everyone's lips is Howe, who is the overwhelming favourite to replace Lennon.

The 42-year-old took the time to 'exclusively reveal' that Howe has been house hunting in his neighbourhood.

And the properties he's allegedly been viewing aren't far from where Lennon and Rangers boss Gerrard currently stay.

While it's not abundantly clear just how serious Fratelli was, he said: "Howe's been spotted house hunting in the street next to mine, I can exclusively reveal.

"On the next street down, Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon have been living across from each other.

"It's one of those neighbourhoods. I would see Neil Lennon around a lot. Steven Gerrard, I would see once or twice, but that's literally the next street down.

"Maybe Eddie Howe is going to buy Neil Lennon's house, because he might not stay there. That happened with Jurgen Klopp and Brendan Rodgers, didn't it?"
