Eddie Howe is confident that Joe Willock has a big 2023 in store - and insists there is more to come from the former Arsenal youngster.
Willock heads back to his old club with Newcastle suddenly finding themselves in a grapple for a Champions League place. The midfielder has been a mainstay in Howe's team with 20 appearances, two goals and two assists so far.
Looking ahead to new year for Willock, Howe, speaking at his Press conference, said: "I have been really pleased with Joe. I think he is maturing nicely.

"I think he's got really good raw ability. He's very athletic and has an eye for goal, technically he's very good and tactically he is improving.
"He has been excellent for me. I have forged an excellent relationship with him and I really like him as a person. I think the big thing with Joe is there's a lot more to come. And I am excited about his future."
