Eddie Howe has hailed Newcastle United's character after the battling draw at Elland Road.
The Magpies had to take a point on a day in which they were just 11 minutes away from a crucial victory that would have pushed them to the brink of Champions League football. But they know that their top three fate will depend upon two games at St James' Park.
Howe said afterwards: "The character to come back is a huge positive. The way Wilson took his two penalties was outstanding. The second one is the most difficult, there are a lot of mind games and lot of time to take the penalty."

Patience is now a virtue for Howe's players, he said afterwards, with games against Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday to come then Leicester: "We can wait a few more days if we achieve it. It is the toughest league in the world and we knew how difficult it would be today."
Reflecting on the ding dong clash in general, Howe said: "I'm struggling to make sense of it all. It was their first attack, we started well. The first attack they get they score.
"We hadn't created clear-cut chances. I thought we played well at times today without hitting our best form and we were rushed around the box."
