Eddie Howe has admitted to feeling stunned by the support shown by Newcastle fans since taking charge in November.
The 44-year-old ended an 18-month hiatus from the game to become Magpies boss at the back end of last year, with the club winless and five points adrift from safety.
A tricky start saw Howe win just once in his first 10 games, but supporters maintained faith in the boss and are now starting to reap the rewards.

Newcastle are on a seven-game unbeaten run and sit in 14th place in the Premier League - four points above the relegation zone - following the 2-0 win at Brentford on Saturday,
The United boss has hailed the support shown from the terraces and believes it ‘does not get any better than managing the club right now.
“We’ve been made to feel very welcome,” Howe told Football Focus.
“I've loved every second of the challenge of managing this club, it is a truly memorable experience.

“I have to compliment the supporters. From day one they have really united around the team. Every home game, away game, they've been incredible.
“It's been an incredible experience and is everything that I thought it would be.
“Managing Newcastle United Football Club… I don't think it gets any better.”
