Eddie Hearn has hit out at the commission which sanctioned 58-year-old Evander Holyfield's exhibition bout with Vitor Belfort earlier this month.
The former heavyweight and cruiserweight champion was dropped and finished by MMA legend Belfort, who was 14 years his junior and had competed at the UFC level just three years prior.
Holyfield, on the other hand, hadn't been between the ropes for over a decade, and had lost his licence in New York as long ago as 2005 due to his poor performances.
And Matchroom Boxing boss Hearn, whose running of events including Logan and Jake Paul, KSI and AnEsonGib paved the way for promoters Triller Fight Club to introduce their bizarre brand of celebrity boxing, has said that the event "disgusted" him.
“YouTube boxing is one thing, I don’t mind what Jake Paul’s doing," Hearn said during an appearance on The DAZN Boxing Show .
"I respect what Jake Paul is doing because one, he’s putting the work in, two, he’s not fighting boxing-based fighters and three he’s promoting the shows, it’s different.
"Holyfield is not a young YouTuber in a training camp, going out and fighting an MMA guy. This is a guy that is not medically fit to have a fight.
"For the commission, who we worked with in Florida before, to allow that to happen? I’ll tell you right now, there is absolutely no way the British Boxing Board of Control would even consider allowing that fight to happen.
"They could have done six rounds. What we saw, it actually disgusted me."

Holyfield stepped in as a last-minute replacement for Oscar De La Hoya, who was supposed to take on Belfort, having initially signed with the promotion to fight Kevin McBride.
And despite appearing to be in tremendous physical condition, Holyfield was visibly hurt as soon as the MMA star landed a punch.
He slipped and fell through the ropes early, and he was soon dropped by the Brazilian.
The referee had to wave the fight off before any serious harm was done to the former two-weight world champion.
Holyfield was keen on signing with Triller, in order to pursue a trilogy bout with heavyweight rival Mike Tyson, with McBride as Tyson's last opponent an interesting rival in an effort to eventually make the bout.
But his former foe walked away from the label after his successful exhibition clash with Roy Jones Jr last year ended in a draw, and his boxing future remains up in the air.
It now looks unlikely that Holyfield will be allowed to compete in the near future, after being handed a 30-day medical suspension after his damaging defeat.
The American heavyweight was joined on the card by David Haye who made his comeback with victory over Joe Fournier.
He had previously admitted he would love to share the ring with Holyfield, but also called out Tyson Fury after his respective bout.
