I've been dreading this week since the beginning of the season.
See, I invested heavily in the Minnesota defense/special teams. I drafted the unit in four of my five head-to-head leagues. It was ranked inside the top 10 before the season started, but I told anyone who would listen during the preseason that the Vikings defense would be this season's equivalent of the dominant Denver defense that carried Peyton Manning to a championship.
I have not been disappointed.
How am I coping? Fortunately, there are two matchups I really like this week. Tennessee has Cleveland in Nashville and Detroit faces off against Los Angeles at home. Week-to-week, I'd hardly ever recommend these defenses _ although the Titans could be a year away from being really good _ but if you're like me, and you need to plug a significant part of your lineup, both show serious promise this week.
