Adelaide Crows small forward Eddie Betts says other clubs have shown interest in him, but he has not been offered a contract from a rival team.
The Crows did interviews with players yesterday after the club failed to make the finals for a second year in a row.
Betts, 32, is contracted with the club until 2020 but in an interview with FiveAA this morning, he would not guarantee that he would play with the team next year.
"You keep hearing stuff about the age factor, you're getting old, we're going to rejuvenate the club," he said.
"That kind of plays on your head a little bit.
"And then speaking to a couple of guys at the club and they've said I'm a required player, I'm contracted to 2020 and I'm not delisted."
The former Carlton player admitted he had spoken to other clubs about potential offers.
He has previously shown interest in mentoring young Indigenous players.
"There's been no offer made to me by Gold Coast [Suns] or any other team," Betts said.
"There's been interest, but no offer made."
Review to look at whole club
The Crows have announced a "full, thorough and comprehensive" review of the club's performance after finishing at 11 in the minor round.
Adelaide Football Club chief executive Andrew Fagan said he expected coach Don Pyke would remain, but he would be subject to the same accountability measures as others in the organisation.
"He's a coach who took us to a grand final two years ago," Mr Fagan said.
"He's well respected across the league, he will always self-declare he's always subject to review, as are other coaches, as am I, and as are other people associated with the football club."
He said the review's "key findings" would be released publicly.
"Obviously we won't release a full review document because it's important as part of these reviews because confidentiality actually ensures we'll get full disclosure from everyone and identify any issues," he said.
Betts said he had not been spoken to by the reviewers.
Crows in the SANFL finals
Betts scored six goals against the Gold Coast Suns on July 13, but only five since then.
He was dropped to the Crows' SANFL team and played in its loss to Glenelg on July 27, but returned for the Crows' next AFL match against St Kilda.
Adelaide's reserves finished third on the SANFL ladder and will play Port Adelaide in a qualifying final at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
SANFL Crows coach Heath Younie said the finals were a great opportunity for the club.
"We don't hide away from the fact that it's unique — both for us and Port," he said.
"The guys that have come down have fully invested and that's proven, evident by our results.
"You know we've won 11 games this year which has been a fantastic result for our footy club, and we deserve to get the two opportunities in a finals series."
No picks for All Australian team
No Crows or Port Adelaide players were chosen in the AFL All Australian team announced yesterday.
The Crows' Daniel Talia and Port's Travis Boak made the 40-man squad.
The Crows announced last week that Richard Douglas and Andy Otten were retiring.
Otten, 30, said he was hoping for a coaching career after playing 109 AFL games across 12 years, including just three this season.
Douglas, 32, said he was open to offers from other clubs.
Douglas has been with the Crows for 14 years, playing almost 250 AFL games.
"[I'm] certainly open to any options, my body feels good — never say never," Douglas said.
"If an opportunity's out there and a club's interested, you'd certainly look at it, but [I'm] obviously looking to transition into coaching in the near future."
Port Adelaide announced on Tuesday that it had re-signed defender Riley Bonner and forward Kane Farrell.
The Power also said ruckman Paddy Ryder and small forward Sam Gray had agreed to explore their options at other clubs.
