Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward brought up his 15th transfer window anniversary this summer, as he delivered yet another antagonising couple of months for fans.
Woodward's hard-nosed approach has seen the former accountant make some bargain buys, but also miss out on landing top talent.
The Old Trafford bigwig has been overseeing things behind the scenes roughly since Sir Alex Ferugons's departure in 2013.
United managed to bring in four new players on transfer deadline day, including Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani, adding to the purchase of Donny van de Beek in August.
But the failure to capture Jadon Sancho after months of negotiations spoke volumes about how Woodward goes about his business in the transfer market.
So how does the recent window compare to the other 14 he has overseen?

2013 summer - 2
David Moyes instructed Woodward to target Cesc Fàbregas, Thiago Alcantara, Ander Herrera and Leighton Baines, but he ended up with Maroune Fellaini instead.
This one really set the tone.

Things stepped up a notch in January as Woodward coughed up a steep sum for Mata from Chelsea.
He’s still there now, of course, which is quite reassuring.

A very mixed bag this time out, with Woodward compensating for the previous season with some overly extravagant deals.
Di Maria and Falcao are arguably two of the biggest flops in United’s history, but they’re saved by the long-term service of Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera.
New boss Louis van Gaal got rid of some long-term Sir Alex Ferguson servants for pennies too.

Another mixed bag, in fairness, with an up and coming Anthony Martial joining from Monaco and major flop Memphis Depay switching from PSV, among other deals.
United managed to recoup most of the Di Maria fee, while making some pretty cheap sales.

Meanwhile, the club’s top scorer finally called time on his Old Trafford career.

Jose Mourinho was left scratching his head in this window was Woodward refused to listen to his demands, only to see him given the boot a few months later.
