Ed Westwick's sexual assault case under review by Los Angeles District Attorney

The rape allegation made against Ed Westwick will be investigated by the Los Angeles District Attorney.

The case against the "Gossip Girl" alum was in the hands of the Los Angeles Department, who turned it over to the DA Tuesday, according to Variety.

In November, 27-year-old actress Kristina Cohen accused of digitally penetrating and raping her three years earlier.

"I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f _ k me. I was paralyzed. I couldn't speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me," she wrote on Facebook.

Westwick denied the allegations and said he had never met Cohen.

"I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape," he said in a written statement.

Two other women came forward with claims against Westwick after Cohen went public.

Aurelie Wynn, who went by Aurelie Marie Cao when she was acting, claims the actor raped her in July 2014, while Rachel Eck accused him of repeatedly trying to kiss and grope her the night before the Academy Awards in March 2014.
