Ed Westwick deletes social media denials of sexual assault, rape

Ed Westwick quietly erased several social media posts in which he denied multiple allegations of sexual assault.

The "Gossip Girl" alum has been accused of assault and rape by three women, all of which he has denied.

In November, Kristina Cohen, 27, accused Westwick of digitally penetrating and raping her three years earlier.

"I fought him off as hard as I could but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f _ k me. I was paralyzed. I couldn't speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me," she wrote on Facebook.

"I do not know this woman. I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman," Westwick wrote at the time. "I certainly have never committed rape."

Aurelie Wynn, who went by Aurelie Marie Cao while she was acting, claims the actor raped her in July 2014, while Rachel Eck accused him of repeatedly trying to kiss and grope her the night before the Oscars in March 2014.

"It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct," Westwick wrote in a statement after Wynn and Eck's claims.

"I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible."

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department turned its investigation over to the district attorney, according to Variety.

Westwick has hired a "high-profile L.A.-based female criminal lawyer" to represent him, according to Us Weekly.
