Ed Sheeran Thailand concert confirmed

English singing sensation Ed Sheeran's sold-out concert in Thailand this month has been confirmed after he suffered a broken arm in a bicycle-car collision.

"Ed Sheeran will start his Asia tour on 11 Nov 2017 in Singapore. The tour dates in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Mumbai and Dubai will go ahead as scheduled," read his website.

Osaka, Tokyo and Manila tour dates will be rescheduled to April 2018. All tickets for the original shows will remain valid for the new dates.

Despite best efforts, due to scheduling conflicts and limited venue availability in April 2018, he has been forced to cancel his tours in Taipei, Seoul, Hong Kong and Jakarta, according to the website.

In mid-September, he told followers on Instagram he had a bicycle accident and his website said he had a fractured wrist and elbow.

Tickets for his concert sold out in minutes when they went on sale on July 1. Seat and pit prices ranged from 1,800 baht to 5,500 baht for the scheduled gig at 8.30pm on Nov 16, at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi.
