Ed Sheeran teases possible Leeds return with +-=÷x Tour

Music superstar Ed Sheeran has teased a possible return to Leeds by offering a hint of a major new tour.

The Shape of You singer, 30, born in Halifax, has taken a slightly odd measure by revealing details of an upcoming tour. He’s done this by sponsoring his beloved Ipswich Town’s new football shirts.

The sponsor on the front of the shirt will read + - = ÷ x Tour which would surely mean Ed Sheeran is hitting the road again soon. As many of you know, Ed, grew up in suffolk but he also has a soft spot for Yorkshire.

So much so, back in 2019, he played ‘homecoming’ shows in Leeds and Ipswich. The pop megastar performed for more than 150,000 fans during the two highly-anticipated Leeds shows.

So, fingers crossed, we might see Ed back in Leeds and Yorkshire as part of this tour he’s teased.

Ed spoke to the official Ipswich Town website about the sponsorship. Asked about the hint of live shows, Ed replied: “All will be revealed in time.”

We’ll bring you further details when we have them.
