Ed Sheeran's heartwarming gesture to school teacher and kids with learning disabilities

Ed Sheeran has kindly paid for a primary school teacher to take an imperative course which will benefit children with learning difficulties.  

The Shape Of You hit-maker, 29, reportedly gifted the lucky school teacher with a hefty fee so that she could have the opportunity to help children create songs.  

The singer’s charity, the Framlingham Foundation Trust, are believed to have donated the money to give the teacher the skills to help children who may be unable to use traditional instruments. 

Ed runs the amazing charity in his home county of Suffolk, where he grew up.  

Stuart Camp, who is Ed’s manager, told The Sun that the charity’s annual accounts revealed that amazing donation.

“The foundation paid for a primary music teacher to undertake a specialist teaching course in the Kodaly learning method,” he explained.  

“This method is well known as an alternative to traditional music tuition (focusing predominantly on aural skills and intuitive skill) and allows those students with learning difficulties to access a world of musical creation they may otherwise find it difficult to connect with.” 

Ed’s most recent charitable donation comes after he parted ways with a selection of some of his most prized childhood possessions for raise money for his home county Suffolk.

The proud dad said goodbye to items including Lego bricks he played with as a kid and handwritten lyrics to hit single Perfect.  

As well as that, he donated a handmade You Need Me EP from 2009 – and a flyer and £3 ticket for his first gig at the Royal British Legion in home town Framlingham. 

Ed’s parents John, 63, and Imogen, 60, wanted to create a lasting legacy from the  Ed Sheeran  : Made in Suffolk ­exhibition in Ipswich, which tells the story of Ed’s rise to stardom.

They got the idea of an auction to support the young in Suffolk after meeting Gina Long, founder of charity GeeWizz.  

Proceeds helped GeeWizz to redevelop a playground for kids with special educational needs and disabilities.
