Ed Sheeran announces Glasgow Hydro gig this month in surprise six-show tour run

Ed Sheeran has surprised fans by announcing details of a UK and European arena tour. And the star is bringing his show to Glasgow in under four weeks time.

The news comes after the singing superstar announced details of his new album, ‘-‘ (‘Subtract’). The new record is his fifth LP to date and the final in his "mathematical album era" following a number of albums named after symbols.

The Global superstar brings his last minute mini tour to Glasgow on March 28, after kicking off his run of shows in Manchester in just 22 days time. The 'Shivers' singer will also play London, Dublin and Paris throughout March and April, with his new album set to drop on May 5.

The arena dates are currently the only scheduled shows in the 32-year-old's diary, so tickets are expected to be highly sought after.

The 'Shape of You' singer is set to put on a show at the Hydro in less than four weeks times, coming to Glasgow on March 28.

When do tickets for Ed Sheeran's Glasgow gig go on sale?

Fans can access presale by signing up t pre-order Ed's new album before 9am on Tuesday, March 7 via the artist's official website.

Pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, March 8 at 9am, with tickets going on general sale on Friday, March 10 at 9am.

Presale access codes and instructions will be emailed to eligible fans from 4pm on Tuesday, March 7, with tickets available from www.edsheeran.com.

Tickets will be available on pre-sale and general sale on the Ticketmaster website.
