Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber song I Don't Care released on Friday

Ed Sheeran will launch a new song with Justin Bieber called I Don't Care.

The duo have teamed up to release the track and it marks the first time the two chart-toppers have worked together.

Sheeran has three hit albums, while Bieber is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet with a string of number one hits and sell-out shows.

Sheeran announced the news on Instagram with a series of photos, including one of him with his new wife Cherry Seaborn on holiday in Cambodia.

One of the photo appears to show some of the song lyrics, and is captioned: "Cause I don’t care, When I’m with my baby yeah. All the bad things disappear. And you’re making me feel like I’m loved by somebody. I can deal with the bad nights. When I’m with my baby, yeah. Cause I don’t care, long as you just hold me near.

"You can take me anywhere. And you’re making me feel like I’m loved by somebody. I can deal with the bad nights. When I’m with my baby yeah".

Bieber has commented on one of the posts with the name of the song - I Don't Care.

The song is available on Amazon Music , where fans can sign up for a free trial to listen to the song without having to sign up for a subscription. Rival site is also offering the trial option Spotify , along with music streaming services.

Ed Sheeran is finishing up his huge world tour with two shows in Leeds and four in Ipswich this summer.

Tickets are still available from seetickets.com.

Leeds, Roundhay Park - August 16-17

Ipswich, Chantry Park - August 23-26
