Ed McCaffrey posts perfect response to Brandon Stokley’s tweet about watching film

Broncos coach Vic Fangio admitted at the NFL owners meetings earlier this week that he hasn’t watched much film from the team’s 2018 season. Fangio’s reasoning was that he wanted to assess players based on them practicing and playing in his system, not under another coach’s instruction.

That seems like a reasonable explanation but former Denver receiver Brandon Stokley (who now works for 104.3 The Fan) didn’t seem satisfied with Fangio’s decision.

“He should and needs to watch the film multiple times from last year,” Stokley tweeted on Thursday.

That promoted Ed McCaffrey, another former Broncos receiver, to chime in with a perfect response.

McCaffrey is the head football coach at Valor Christian High School and he has assembled an all-star staff of assistants that includes Stokley, who coaches the team’s wide receivers.

Stokley is yet to reply to McCaffrey’s tweet.

Stokley’s oldest son, Cameron, will be a sophomore at Valor this fall.
