Ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and cannabis seized following raids in Artane and Kilmore

Gardai have seized a cocktail of drugs following raids of two houses and a car in two north Dublin areas.

Ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and cannabis were discovered by gardai during the searches.

The drugs were found in packages destined for locations in Ireland and abroad.

A total of €1,450 in cash was also seized.

Gardai said: "As part of ongoing intelligence led operations targeting the supply of controlled drugs, Gardaí from the DMR North Divisional Drugs unit based in Clontarf searched two houses and a car in the Artane & Kilmore areas on 1 April 2020.

"During the searches a number of packages destined for locations in Ireland and overseas were recovered.

"The packages contained an assortment of drugs, including quantities of ecstasy, cocaine, heroin and cannabis (analysis pending). Cash totalling €1450 was also seized.

"No arrests were made during this phase of the investigation but Gardaí say they are following a definite line of enquiry."
