Economic Data Scheduled For Tuesday

  • The Federal Open Market Committee will begin its two-day policy meeting today.
  • The NFIB small business optimism index for November is scheduled for release at 6:00 a.m. ET. The optimism index for small businesses is expected to edge higher to 98.3 in November from 98.2 in October.
  • The Producer Price Index for November will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. Analysts expect producer prices rising 0.5% on a monthly basis in November following a 0.6% increase a month ago.
  • The Johnson Redbook Retail Sales Index for the latest week will be released at 8:55 a.m. ET.
