E-commerce marketing agency sets up Edinburgh office as it seeks to drive UK-wide expansion

An e-commerce marketing consultancy has opened an office in Edinburgh.

The expansion into Scotland is the first move outside the north west of England for Manchester-headquartered PushON.

The company said the new office in Edinburgh will be run by head of marketing Alex Hogan - and has already won its first client, admin, business support and back-office management firm SmartPA.

PushON, which was founded in 2005, has moved into an office on Commercial Street in Leith.

Simon Wharton, business strategy director, said: “It has always been our plan to expand our presence nationally and we were looking at next year, but lockdown has demonstrated that businesses aren’t location reliant.

"We see Scotland as a great opportunity for e-commerce and marketing growth and marks the next stage for the business.”

Alex Hogan added: “I’m excited about the opportunity in opening up here and to help win and develop e-commerce solutions for Scottish clients on the ground.

“With SmartPA we are delivering a campaign covering SEO, content marketing and conversion rate optimisation and have so far seen transactional revenue soar by 300%. This campaign will provide a great platform to show Scottish companies how we can help them achieve their business objectives.”
