BBC Today presenter James Naughtie gets a ticking off this week from the high church of environmental probity, the Ends Report.
After Jim had made yet another long, sceptical climate change comment when interviewing Met Office scientist Vicky Pope, Ends editor Nick Schoon saw green: "He's a decent man . . . who just needs to do a bit more thinking, talking and reading on the subject," he writes in an editorial, adding:
Climate skeptics [like Naughtie)] will be . . . seen as people whose judgment erred on a stupendous and historic scale
