The story of a dad who died hugging a photo of his daughter has led ECHO readers to urge those struggling with their mental health to seek help.
Andy Hamill, 33, had struggled with mental health difficulties for a decade before he was found dead in his Birkenhead home on February 11.
At the inquest into his death, the mother of his children encouraged those battling mental health challenges to speak up, and many ECHO readers agreed.
Shelley Oldham, his cousin, said: "We all loved you if only you knew how much.. miss you cuz. It's not the same without our family joker!!
"I hope you are at peace now - it's ok not to be ok YNWA XX"
Janet Ikemefule said that the tragedy showed "the effect mental health really has". She took issue with the coroner's claim that Mr Hamill had rejected help, saying: "Everyone suffering with mental health wants help."
Lisa Dempster said: "If someone you know is acting out of character, ask them if you are OK.
"If they say 'I'm fine', press just a little bit harder, because chances are they are not 'fine'."

Liverpool FC fan Mr Hamill was described by the mother of his children, Rebecca Waldron, as a "doting dad" who had an incredibly close bond with his two children.
Mr Hamill, who was once photographed with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, had battled with mental health problems since 2009 and had previously attempted to take his own life, an inquest at Liverpool Coroner's Court heard.
