A suspected BB gun was found inside a stolen car abandoned at a Salford bus station yesterday.
Police said they were alerted to the suspicious vehicle at the Eccles interchange at around 1pm on Monday afternoon.
Officers attended and were seen searching a dark grey Renault.
The bus station was evacuated and remained closed off for several hours.
In a statement issued this afternoon, Greater Manchester Police say officers believe the car was stolen and a suspected BB gun was found inside.
It is also believed four men fled the vehicle on foot.

No arrests have been made.
"Just after 1pm today (8 February 2021), officers were called to a report of an abandoned vehicle at the bus station in Eccles," GMP said.
"Officers attended and the vehicle, believed to have been stolen, was found with a suspected BB gun inside. Four males are suspected to have made off on foot from the vehicle.
"Buses were re-routed for a short time due to the obstruction."
