Ebanie Bridges has told of how fans ask her for her bath water, sweat from fight training and even toe-nail clippings in disgusting DM requests.
The bantamweight world champion has an interesting set of fans who follow her antics outside of the ring as closely as they do her performances in it. Bridges has made herself a star not only through big wins on Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing events, but her social media presence and memorable lingerie-clad weigh-ins.
And some of them have gone a little far, messaging her asking if they can buy a host of strange things from her life, including her bath water. She has previously sold socks and pictures of her feet, while the sale of bath water has happened before for fans of online personalities such as YouTuber Belle Delphine.
“I get love letters, all kinds of stuff. I get asked for bath water, toe-nail clippings, sweat," she explained during an episode of Pub Talk, before addressing the criticism she receives from trolls online. “I ignore it. Anyone who is successful, they’re going to get the jealousy, the hate, people will try to drag you down.
"That’s just normal. The people talking s***, they don’t know me, so why should I sit there and get emotional and bothered by someone who has never met me? I’m very secure within myself. I’ve been through hell and back in my life and I’m very secure, I love who I am.”
Bridge has previously spoken of the strange requests she receives, and how she has used it to add a further income stream to her fighting career. She has been out of the ring since winning her belt back in March and has not yet been able to enter a world title fight as champion, which would command a bigger payout.

However, she has supplemented her earnings by telling fans who ask for particular things to send her money on Paypal. In an interview with TalkSport, Bridges said: “Give me your money, that’s my response! You want my stuff, then you’ve got to give me your money.
"There’s plenty of weird people out there. I haven’t sold my bathwater, but I’ve been getting so many weird requests I was thinking, should I go buy some jars? I’ve done the socks and my feet because it’s a laugh and harmless. I thought it was funny and they ended up paying, so now any requests that come through, I’m just like here is my PayPal.
“You’d think normal people would want lingerie or something like that, but it’s all feet and socks. I do get the random requests for the bathwater and other weird things which I won’t go into now. It’s all side money at the end of the day, if they want to pay then it’s up to them. I don’t care really, as long as I’m putting food on my table and the bills are being paid, I’m happy."
