Eatyard to launch dedicated shop for wine and cheese fans following success of festival

A dedicated shop for fans of wine and cheese has been launched at one of north Dublin's most popular street food spots.

Eatyard at the Bernard Shaw in Phibsborough will open the wine and cheese shop this week following the success of last year's festival which saw 15,000 people in attendance at the Iveagh Gardens.

Nationwide delivery will also soon be launched, and the menu will include a range of products from Irish suppliers.

The Eatyard crew said: "We’re big fans of wine and cheese at Eatyard. What really started off as more of a funny idea for an event at the original Eatyard, turned into a weekender, then last year became a festival in its own right in the Iveagh Gardens for 15,000 people and now in COVID 2020, it’s become a dedicated bar & shop space in the confines of the Eatyard/ Bernard Shaw in Phibsborough.

"That’s really been the spirit of Eatyard since day one. We roll with the punches, and we work with whatever fortune gives us - it’s the street food way when you think about it."
