It's bonanza time for food and drink lovers this month with 50 per cent off in bars, restaurants and cafes across Nottingham.
The government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme has been launched to tempt people out and help the hospitality industry get back on its feet after the three-month lockdown.
The discount applies to food and drinks but not alcohol. So whether it's a coffee or a three course-meal customers can get 50 per cent off up to a maximum £10 at participating establishments from Monday to Wednesday throughout August.
There's no voucher - the money is simply taken off the bill at the end. All you need to do is make a booking at your favourite independent or chain, or just turn up if they're accepting walk-ins.

The good news is there's no limit on how many times you can take advantage of the discount, which food and drink venues will have reimbursed by the Government.
