Eat Out to Help Out: The 31 Kilmarnock restaurants offering half-price food throughout August

Kilmarnock venues will be offering half-price food throughout August as the Eat Out to Help Out scheme is launched.

Diners can get heavily discounted scran in some of the town's most popular venues as part of the new project.

Launched by the UK Government, the scheme aims to give a boost to the hospitality industry, which was hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.

How does Eat Out to Help Out work?

• You get 50% off your food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a total value of £10 per person if you eat or drink in
• It takes place every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between August 3 and August 31
• And you can go as many times as you like

Officials say you don’t need a voucher to use the scheme and you can use it at the same time as other offers and discounts. There is also no minimum spend.

Alcoholic drinks and service charges are excluded from the offer.
