Eat Out to Help Out scheme: Full list of participating restaurant chains

Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced in his summer budget this month that Brits can get 50% off meals at participating restaurant chains throughout August

In a bid to revive the UK economy post-lockdown, the 'Eat Out To Help Out' scheme grants customers 50% off their meals, up to a maximum discount of £10 per head.

It's hoped that the incentive will encourage people to dine out and thus pump money back into businesses and the high street.

"Meals eaten at any participating business will be 50% off, up to a maximum discount of £10 per head for everyone, including children," Rishi Sunak confirmed during his summer budget announcement in the Commons.

Any restaurant, pub and bar can apply to take part in the scheme by registering on a designated government website.

"Businesses will need to register, and can do so through a simple website," Mr Sunak explained.

"Businesses can then claim the money back, with the funds in their bank account within five working days."

All customers need to do is show up at a participating establishment in August on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and the discount will be automatically applied.

Businesses signed up to the scheme can display an 'Eat Out To Help Out' poster to indicate to customers they are a part of it.

Here is the full list (so far) of participating restaurant chains:

  • All Bar One
  • Browns
  • Burger King
  • Frankie & Benny's
  • Harvester
  • Nando's
  • Pizza Hut
  • Toby Carvery
  • Wagamama
