Eat Out to Help Out: how to find which Glasgow restaurants are participating in government scheme

Next month, diners across the country will be able to benefit from 50% off their meals thanks to the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

The discount applies from August 3 to August 31 at restaurants that have signed up for it, allowing people to get a maximum 50% off food and non-alcoholic drinks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

As long as you are eating at the venue, you can only get a maximum £10 off per diner, however, there is no limit on how many times you can use the offer throughout the month.

Restaurants, cafes, bars or pubs throughout the UK can all participate, including plenty in Glasgow, some of which have already signalled their intentions to do so on social media - business that have not yet registered can do so here.

But how do you know which Glasgow food and drink spots have signed up for the scheme?

Soon* every venue taking part will be listed on the UK Government website, here.

In the meantime, we'll be putting out a call asking every restaurant, cafe, bar and pub to get in touch so we can compile a list letting Glaswegians know where they go to make the most of the deal.

Just email us at news@glasgowlive.co.uk, message over Facebook or Twitter!

*UPDATE: The UK Government has pushed back its launch date and will now share the list of participating restaurants by July 31. Watch this space for further announcements.
