Good news Edinburgh foodies - a number of restaurants, cafés and bars across the capital have said that they will keep offering their own version of Eat Out to Help Out after the scheme ends next week.
The Government-backed discount offered sit-in diners a whopping 50% (up to £10 off their bill) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August, with the scheme set to end of Monday 31.
Some 84,000 restaurants across the UK signed up to the scheme, with the most recent figures showing 64 million discounted meals had been served in the first three weeks alone.
However, with customers returning to restaurants in their droves, many eateries have decided to keep going with it and fund it themselves.
