Eat Out To Help Out Belfast places taking part now shown on interactive map

Belfast foodies have been flocking to their favourite restaurants over the last number of weeks, taking advantage of the UK government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

The new initiative offers people the chance to get 50% off their meals at participating restaurants, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The scheme doesn't require a voucher and is aimed at giving a much-needed boost to the hospitality sector following the effects of lockdown.

Due to the fact that there is no limit to how many times you can use the deal, and the fact that you can get up to £10 discount per head on each meal, its no surprise that the scheme has proved massively popular with people in Belfast, as well as though throughout the UK.

For those who still haven't plotted out exactly which restaurants they'll be eating each of the three days of the week (guilty!), a few tech-savvy people have created an interactive map, which shows you every restaurant in your area that is participating in the scheme.

'Eat To Help' created the map, and all you have to do is put in your postcode and the site will pinpoint all the restaurants and cafes near you which is taking part.
