easyJet is the latest airline to cancel all flights to Spain over the next two weeks.
The travel company has followed in the footsteps of Jet2 who have all stopped taking passengers to the European country.
easyJet said it would be flying as normal on Sunday and Monday to try and allow as many UK citizens as possible to return home.
However, between March 17 and March 29, only rescue flights will be operating.
A statement said: "Spain is the latest authority to impose flight restrictions. We’re flying a full Spanish schedule on 15th & 16th March to help get people home but unfortunately will need to cancel flights from 17th onwards."
TUI has also extended its flight suspension to Spain. On Saturday it announced they were cancelling flights for the next two days, but they have now extended the cancellations to March 29.
The announcement came after Spain declared a national emergency and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office advised against all but essential travel to the region.
Public gatherings have been banned and all shops have been closed except food stores and pharmacies during the 15-day lockdown.
More than 1,500 new coronavirus cases were diagnosed in the country in one day as the state of emergency was declared by the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Stranded passengers can book onto an rescue flight using the EasyJet website. Alternatively, they are advised to turn up to the airport as early as possible on the preferred day of departure and will be flown home if there are seats available.
Bookings will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
