easyJet Holidays is offering holiday refunds for families who booked Spain holidays after the country changed its entry rules due to the Omicron variant.
Spain joined a line-up of countries tightening up entry rules in recent weeks, with new vaccination requirements for UK arrivals.
Previously unvaccinated Brits had been able to visit provided they had a negative Covid test result. However the rules changed on December 1 meaning that anyone arriving into Spain from the UK needs to be fully vaccinated against Covid.
This means having received both doses of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travel - and you'll need a vaccine certificate to show as proof.
Passengers will also need to fill out a pre-travel form and obtain a QR code to show at border control.
The change in rules was a huge blow for families who have holidays to Spain booked this winter.
This is because children aged 12-17 may be unvaccinated, but under the new rules won't be able to visit the country.
As a result, easyJet is allowing free cancellations on all Spain holidays - including the Canaries and Balearics - on bookings up to December 31, 2021.

The policy will only apply to families who booked but won't be able to meet the entry requirements in time for their holiday.
Holidaymakers will be able to choose between a number of options including receiving a full refund, amending their holiday for free, or cancelling their booking for easyJet Holidays credit.
The company is also offering free amends to anyone due to travel between December 18-31 irregardless of their destination, or the option to claim easyJet holidays credit.
If you want to make use of these policies, you'll need to do so by midnight on Sunday (December 5).
You can find out more on the easyJet Holidays website.
It's also worth noting that UK's own travel rules have changed. The main change is that fully vaccinated Brits returning to the UK from abroad will need to self-isolate for the first two days and take a PCR test on day two, needing a negative result in order to be able to end the isolation.
(Previously, vaccinated travellers only needed to take a PCR or antigen test on day two, but this is currently no longer the case).
Travel rules can change quickly during the pandemic, so if you have a holiday booked always check the latest Foreign Office advice for your destination.
