If you're looking for a winter break, then it's good news with more options now on the horizon for passengers.

easyJet, has announced they will be launching three new winter routes to its Scottish network, meaning customers can choose from an even greater range of destinations to enjoy this winter - and book early to get the best fares.

The airline is set to launch winter flights with two new routes from Scotland to Egypt’s scuba diving hotspot, Hurghada. Flights will launch from Glasgow twice a week starting from November 8 operating year round, as well as from Edinburgh twice a week starting from November 6 throughout the winter season.

As well as more Glasgow flights, for those looking for a magical Christmas getaway, easyJet are launching winter flights from Edinburgh to Rovaniemi, the gateway to Finnish Lapland, which will launch on December 3 and operate twice a week throughout winter.

The new route joins existing services from London Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester, which are set to prove popular with families visiting the famous home of Santa Claus this winter.

Ali Gayward, easyJet's UK Country Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be launching even more new routes from our airports across Scotland to a range of fantastic destinations, providing evening more choice for our customers this winter whether they’re looking for a Christmas getaway, hitting the slopes or chasing the winter sun and we can’t wait to welcome more customers on board.”

Christopher Tibbett, Group Head of Airline Relations and Marketing for Glasgow Airport, added: "We are thrilled to welcome easyJet's launch of a twice weekly service to Hurghada in Egypt.

“easyJet have already launched several new routes for Glasgow Airport this year; including to Porto and Lisbon; and this additional new route marks an exciting expansion for easyJet and demonstrates our commitment to providing our passengers with diverse and enticing travel options.

“Hurghada is a stunning destination known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and rich cultural heritage. We are confident that this addition will be welcomed by leisure travellers seeking a sun-soaked getaway this winter.”

Flights on new routes for this winter are now available to book at easyJet.com and via the mobile app starting from £35.99 per person, one way.
