easyJet Holidays restarts Crete packages as Greek Island back on travel corridors

easyJet Holidays is re-launching holidays in Crete holidays following the news that the Greek Island is back on the UK travel corridors list.

Any Brits returning from the island after 4am on Sunday 18th October will not be required to quarantine for 14 days.

Meanwhile, the FCDO has changed its travel advice to allow Brits to head to Crete for non-essential reasons.

You can book the new Crete holiday packages on the easyJet Holidays website from Saturday 17th October. Flights to Heraklion will be available from the 24th October 2020.

The travel giant currently has a Protection Promise in place for customers, with various features offering a bit more flexibility for holidaymakers.

A key highlight is that if you change your mind up to 28 days before your departure date, you can get a full refund with no extra fees.

This sits alongside the brand's existing policy to cancel any holidays where there is "a known quarantine or self-isolation requirement in the destination".

Paul Bixby, easyJet holidays Commercial Director, said: "We know people have really missed their holidays this year and Greece is one of our favourite destinations, so we welcomed yesterday’s announcement and we’re really pleased to re-start holidays to Crete in time for October half term.

"We’ve got some fantastic offers for anyone looking for a last-minute sunshine getaway.

"We’re also committed to giving our customers peace of mind, which is why we launched our Covid Commitments and our Protection Promise, which lets people book their holidays with the reassurance that if things change they are protected.

"We pride ourselves on being on our customers side, always."

easyJet Holidays isn't the only firm to have re-launched Crete holidays following the announcement. Thomas Cook recently announced it had put Crete holidays on sale
