EASYJET has announced Scottish holidaymakers will be able to get a direct flight from Aberdeen to Paris later this year.
The popular low-cost airline will introduce the route from Aberdeen International Airport to Charles de Gaulle at the end of October.
Tickets are already available to book via the easyJet website, with the first flight to leave at 1.15pm on Monday, October 27.
Outward and return flights will operate every Monday and Friday until the first week of January 2026.
Journeys will resume on February 2 and can be booked until Friday, March 20.
Flights between the Granite City and the City of Love have not been available since the Covid pandemic.
Council leaders have since urged Air France to reintroduce direct flights in a bid to boost tourism in the north-east.
EasyJet will now offer north-east holidaymakers the opportunity to travel directly to Paris in just a few hours.
From Charles de Gaulle, Paris’s city centre is only half an hour away, while a high-speed train to Disneyland only takes 10 minutes.
Ticket prices for the flights vary, with the cheapest one-way option starting at £30.99 and the most expensive being £85.99.
The news comes after easyJet unveiled in April more than 8000 trips across its Scottish network, including 107 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, had gone on sale.
