EasyHotel launches half term holiday flash sale with rooms for less than £20

With the countries on the England's quarantine list constantly changing, staycations are becoming an increasingly popular option for holidaymakers looking for a getaway.

While the new tiered system of restrictions complicates matters - Government guidelines advise against all but essential travel in and out of Tier 3 areas such as Liverpool and Lancashire - an autumn break is still a possibility for people in many parts of the country.

And travellers can bag themselves a bargain as budget hotel chain easyHotel launches a flash sale, with rooms from just £19.99 a night during the October half term and Christmas holidays.

There are 19,000 rooms up for grabs from that price, in destinations including Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Sheffield, Ipswich, Croydon and Milton Keynes.

Cut-price stays are available between October 19 and January 31, and the sale ends on October 29.

Make sure you check the latest rules and regulations for travel for both your own area and the destination you're visiting before making a booking.

Neil Fidler, digital marketing manager at easyHotel, said: “Autumn is a brilliant time of year in the UK with plenty going on, from Halloween celebrations to Bonfire Night, and perhaps the start of some Christmas shopping for those of us who are organised!

"If you are looking for some adventure, check out our fantastically located city centre hotels for unbeatable offers.

"Friends and families can take trips away for less, leaving money in their pocket for treating themselves to the more important things, like exploring a city or a spooky event.”
