Pancake Tuesday is always a bit of trial and error but always great fun for the whole family.
Shrove Tuesday falls this year on February 20 so don't get caught out not having all the ingredients in!
Whether you are having pancakes for breakfast, lunch or dinner - or all three, here are some simple recipes to make sure your Pancake Tuesday isn't a flop.

From traditional fluffy pancakes, pancake cereal or crepes, pick your favourite from these Tik Tok tutorials and give them a try.
Fluffy Pancakes
@flakeysalt describes it as "the old school way".
For this recipe, you will need:
2 cups of flour
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Then you should put on a non-stick pan on medium heat, wait for it to heat up and add some butter.
Then use a ladle or measuring cup to scoop the batter into the pan.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, then flip and leave again for the same time.
Crepes
In a blender, add:
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of vanilla
@matthewinthekitchen says once you blend, you should then add in a spoonful of batter to the pan, "spread it around nice and thin and flip".
He then adds Nutella, but you can add any toppings or sauce of your choice.
Pancake Cereal
This interesting recipe will definitely be a favourite amongst the kids!
You will only need:
- 50g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 150ml whole milk
Then pour into a sauce bottle.

Then flip, add mini oreos, marshmallows or your favourite treats, and some milk.
