Easton man faces trial for serious assault on police officer

An Bristol man accused of a serious assault on a police officer is due to face trial.

Adelaja Brown, from Easton, is to face trial in connection with an injury sustained by a police officer.

The 30-year-old, of Chapel Road, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Thursday, November 5.

He denied causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent on Police Sergeant Luke O'Connor on May 29 in St Pauls.

He also denied a charge of GBH on the officer.

Judge Euan Ambrose set a trial date of June 21. The trial is listed to last between six and seven days.

Brown was released on unconditional bail.
