What’s Going To Happen
Eastern Michigan was able to pound through Illinois to get a fantastic victory on its third road game in a row. Now it gets its first home date of the year.
Central Connecticut State is 3-0 with a fun offense and a defense that’s picking off everything. The Blue Devils have a killer ground game averaging 281 yards per game and a defense that’s stuffing everything, mainly by getting into the backfield.
Eastern Michigan isn’t getting flagged, and it’s also not coming up with the turnovers CCSU needs to convert into easy points. The Eagles aren’t a rock against the run, but it did a nice job of keeping Illinois under wraps just enough to get by.
It’ll be Eagle QB Mike Glass who takes over, coming off of two straight 300-yard games with eight touchdowns passes and just two picks – both against Kentucky. He’ll be sharp enough to get the Eagles over the Blue Devils ground game that will do a nice job of keeping up the pace.
