Easterhouse bus attack: Double-decker carrying passengers has windows smashed on Westerhouse Road

Police are appealing for information after a double decker bus travelling through Easterhouse had its windows smashed.

Officers were called at around 3.15pm on Thursday afternoon having been alerted to the incident on Westerhouse Road in the east end of Glasgow.

Police say the bus was carrying passengers at the time, however there are no reports of any injuries.

Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward and contact police.

A Tweet shared by the Glasgow North East Police Division this afternoon advised: "A double decker bus carrying passengers at the time had its windows smashed about 3.15pm yesterday in Westerhouse Road.

"If you witnessed this incident or have any information in relation to the crime please contact police on 101 quoting reference PS-20210629-2146."
