SGN have announced that they will be upgrading their gas network in the Easter Road area as of Monday 2 September.
However, due to the upgrade the London Road - Easter Road junction connecting the two busy roads will experience road works for the next eight weeks.
The work at East Norton Place will run until the 12th of November and traffic delays are expected in the area until then.
London Road and Easter Road will be the two main roads affected by the temporary multi-way traffic lights but Regent Road and Montrose Terrace are also expected to feel the brunt of the works.
Roadworks will also be continuing at the Easter Road - Regent Road - Carlton Terrace Brae junction until the end of the October which is expected to cause further disruption to the area to and from the city centre.
