Easter Monday opening hours: What time do shops close on Bank Holiday Monday?

The Easter weekend is almost over, so chances are you have cleaned out your cupboards, wine rack and the fridge of all the Easter goodies.

So if a quick dash to your local supermarket is on the cards, it's advisable to check opening times before heading out to avoid disappointment.

As today is bank holiday Monday, most stores will open across the UK but many will be operating shorter hours than normal.

So shoppers will have less time to pick up food essentials, household goods and reduced chocolate eggs - making planning ahead essential.

When is Waitrose open?

• Waitrose & Partners shops will be open from 8am - 8pm.
• Little Waitrose shops will be open from 7am - 9pm.
• All Shell and Welcome Break stores will trade as usual.
