TWO Easter eggs have been recalled by a major brand over fears they may contain metal.
Tony's Chocolonely has recalled two of its easter eggs - the milk caramel sea salt egg and the milk chocolate egg - because the products may contain pieces of metal making them unsafe to eat.
The eggs which have been recalled have a best before date of June 2025 and have the following batch codes:
- Milk Caramel Sea Salt Egg: L0385D, L0415D, L3244D, L3254D, L3264D, L3274D, L3304D, L3384D, L3394D, L3404D, L3444D, L3454D, L3464D, L3474D
- Milk Chocolate Egg: L0355D, L0345D, L0315D, L0305D, L3544D, L3534D, L3524D, L3514D, L3484D, L3374D, L3344D, L3334D, L3324D, L3314D, L3234D, L3204D, L3194D, L3184D
Anyone who has bought one of the recalled eggs has been urged not to eat them but to return them to the shop they were bought from for a refund or replacement.
Signs have also been posted in shops where the products are sold to warn customers.
